AFI MICRO - Under Development

The AFI Micro is a high resolution, high-speed 3D digital shape scanner intended for intra-oral scanning and robot-guided industrial applications. The AFI Micro offers ultra compact 3D scanning at video rates.

For the dentist or dental technician, the AFI Micro will provide a lightweight scanner capable of bringing highly accurate 3D scanning to the dental chair.

The AFI Micro will also benefit robotics-driven 3D scanning in the manufacturing line. Small enough to fit where other 3D shape scanners cannot reach, the real-time scanning will enhance quality control and inspection in the manufacturing line.

The AFI Micro intra-oral scanner measures 7.0 inches (17.8 cm)
in length and 0.8 inches (2.0 cm) in width.  The weight
is comfortable for the dentist or dental technician.
